Cornwall Carers Service
Young Adult Carers
Cornwall Carers Service supports young adult carers aged 18–25 as they move through key transitions into adulthood.
A young adult carer is someone who provides care or support to a family member, friend, or loved one. Through our partnership with Barnardo’s, we offer information, advice, and one-to-one mentoring, with dedicated staff who are here to support you every step of the way.
We help young adult carers build a life outside of their caring role, encouraging them to develop new skills, set goals, and follow their aspirations. We also guide carers in accessing and navigating adult support services.
