Young Adult Carers

Cornwall Carers Service support transition age carers in their journey through to adulthood.

Young Adult Carers are people aged 18-25 who provide support and care to someone in their life. Cornwall Carers Service has partnered with Barnardo’s to provide information and advice services alongside one to one mentoring with dedicated staff members there to support you.

We support carers to establish a life outside of their caring role, inspiring them to develop and pursue their goals and aspirations. We also assist carers in identifying, accessing, and navigating adult service systems. You can refer to Cornwall Carers Service by completing the referral form below.

  • Carer Passport

    Used to identified carers of inpatients of Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust and Cornwall Foundation Trust.

  • Emergency Carers Card

    For carers worried about what might occur in an emergency preventing them from reaching the person they care for.

    Connect with other carers, access valuable resources and stay informed.
