Leach Pottery (4-Day Course)

  • Higher Stennack Saint Ives, England, TR26 2HE United Kingdom (map)

LEACH POTTERY with Promas | Four-day course | 6th March - 27th March | Two hours per week | 10am – 12pm

This is a really special one. Over four sessions, you'll be welcomed into the iconic Leach Pottery, one of Cornwall's most beloved creative spaces, for an experience that's equal parts inspiring and relaxing.

Each visit includes a guided tour of the museum, giving you a fascinating glimpse into the history of one of Britain's most celebrated potteries. Then it's over to you, you'll get hands-on with clay in a proper introductory pottery session, guided by the team at Leach Pottery themselves.

Your finished pieces will be glazed and fired, ready for you to collect and take home as a lasting reminder of something you made entirely with your own hands.

Pottery is a wonderfully grounding craft, there's something about working with clay that quiets the mind and brings you fully into the moment. For carers who spend so much time focused on others, that kind of headspace can feel like a real gift.

This course is completely FREE, our partner Promas covers all materials and travel expenses.

Before booking, take a look at the course FAQs at the bottom of this page, which answer the most common questions. If you still need help, please get in touch, and we'll be happy to chat.

We do ask that you take your place seriously. We know life as a carer can be unpredictable, and we completely understand that things come up. But last-minute cancellations can sometimes mean the course can't go ahead for others, and there's a real financial impact for us too. So if you do need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible.

Where is this Activity Located?
