Wellness Letterboxes and Activities for Carers

As part of Carers Week 2025, Cornwall Carers Service is proud to celebrate and support the unpaid carers of Cornwall with a special gift — 100 Wellness Letterboxes, filled with self-care treats and thoughtful items to help you take a moment for you. This initiative is funded by Cornwall Council

Why We're Doing This

Caring for someone takes strength, compassion, and endless resilience. These Wellness Boxes are a small token of our appreciation — a way to say:

“You are seen. You are valued. You are not alone.”

Activities Up for Grabs

In addition to the Wellness Letterboxes, we’re also giving unpaid carers the chance to enjoy free activities and experiences across Cornwall!

During Carers Week, you’ll be able to enter to win access to some of Cornwall’s most beautiful and fun destinations, including:

  • St Michael’s Mount

  • Screech Owl Sanctuary

  • Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens

  • Bodmin & Wenford Railway

  • Gweek Seal Sanctuary

  • Mullion Glass Making Experience

  • National Trust

  • Tamar Donkey Sanctuary

  • Geevor Tin Mine

Stay tuned – more details and how to enter will be released during Carers Week right here and on our Facebook page!

What’s Inside the Wellness Letterboxes?

Each letterbox is lovingly packed with handpicked wellness items designed to help carers relax, recharge, and feel appreciated.
Expect a mix of self-care treats like:

  • Soothing teas.

  • Soaps, hand creams and facemasks.

  • Tea coasters and fridge magnets with inspirational quotes.

  • Chocolates and sweets.

(Contents may vary slightly.)
